0840-Study complete. Verse of the day: "This is why I speak to them in parables: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand. In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: "'You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving. For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them."
(Mat 13:13-15)
Time for breakfast then go ashore to retrieve my chair, remaining firewood, and depart for Bleue Baie.
1110-Arrived at the remote site at Bleue Baie, traveled through the "Amazon River Maze" for a total of 5.5 miles. Thank you Lord the boat site was open!

Tied Up - Solar Panels Tilted
I secured the boat, then put the cameras and mics on their chargers. I raised the solar panels to maximize solar watts then carried firewood up to the fireplace. Reset the rocks of the fireplace for better wind protection. Split the wood hoping it would dry more since it was wet. The wood I picked up at the river camp site pretty much fizzled last night due to the high moisture content.
Oriented the boat for more direct sun.
There is a breeze blowing. 77F/80F. Still a hot day! Dishes are waiting.
1315-Dishes finished. Now relaxing on the boat with a gentle fall breeze blowing through the boat. 79F/82F.
1410-Planned an approximate route for the final legs of the trip. I will stay here 2 nights and then head to "Babe" peninsula. I will not reveal why the name. It is a group canoeist's choice stop so I hope I won't find others there.
Relaxing Onshore
1510-Sat up onshore just soaking up the peace I feel in this place. I'm so grateful Lord!
I will prepare dinner of pizza, salad, and a cold beer.

1730-Jumped in for a swim after dinner to cool off from the heat. Had Bailey's on ice for dessert. 81F/82F.
Moon Coming Up
2050-Sat by the fire until 2030 then took some shots of the moon. Still too hazy for good star viewing. Will read and hit the sack. I'm tired!
