Early Fog Is Lifting
0630-Coffee cake was delicious as usual.
0645-Bible study verses for the day: "These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules." (Mat 15:8-9)
0730-Morning study time finished, will go ashore to retrieve my chair and more firewood before I eat breakfast. Another sunny day and forecast to be warm with light winds.
0845-Departed the boat site.
1145-Arrived at the new site. Sunny, clear, calm, and warm. 80F/81F. Traveled 14.5 miles. Tied to a steep rock face which makes it difficult going up and down. Using the bow rope helps provide security.

Leg 8 Destination
I set out the small backup solar battery to charge. Washed the dishes.
I plan to move into the North Arm to Devils Mountain tomorrow. I did not angle the panels today. I seem to be getting plenty of solar energy. I will wait a while before hauling any firewood up the hill to the fire ring.
1540-Sat on the hill in the shade. The boat was too hot, 82F inside, 86F out. Much cooler on the ridge ashore.
Listened to an audio book. Adjusted the solar panel for the backup solar.
Another Old But Stunted Tree
Hauled two armloads of wood up the hill for a fire tonight. Not hungry yet. Will wait for the sun to get lower to cool the boat.
1720-Split some firewood and prepped the fire to start at sundown. Returned to the boat to make dinner: spaghetti, salad, rolls, and red wine. May take a swim to get refreshed.
1830-Checked email and updated my finance Excel sheets. Time to start the fire.
2130-Sat by the fire with the full moon shinning on the water while I listened to my audio book by John Grisham, "The Exchange". Time to head to the boat to hit the sack.
