Trip Day 13 - Tuesday (Layover Day)

0625-Cloudy, light rain last night. Not the cold and rain I expected. Will bake coffee cake before my morning study time.

0720-Coffee cake is in the stove top oven. Coffee is on.

A Couple Of Coffee Cake Muffins - For Morning Study Time

0820-Enjoyed my coffee cake with the study time. Verse of the day: "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope." (Psalms 130:5)

0930-Finished the morning study. 69F/58F.

Began work on a big hot breakfast. Veggie cheese omelet with bacon, toast, raspberry jam, and OJ.

1200-As usual all the cooking generates lots of dishes to wash. Just finished doing that! 73F/64F. Cloudy, no rain yet.

1500-Listened to my audio book and took a nap.

Got up and looked around and thought the stern anchor had dragged. No, the stern rode was wound around the swim ladder. The rode floats which is a hazard for a stern anchor. I need to change the line to non-floating for the next trip.

I pulled the stern anchor since it was just too much hazard.

Had to move dishes off the grate above the heater so I could fire it up. It was only 63F inside. Now 65F/56F

Having some red wine and chocolates. It's dinner time but I'm not hungry with all the grub from this morning.

1730-Spent the afternoon transferring video and pics to the external hard drive. Preparing dinner now.

1815-Finished dinner. No dessert today. I'm over full but will have a Baileys.

1900-reveiwed satellite charts to determine why I hit rocks going into Jackfish Bay on Day One. Turns out the satellite chart does indicate the reef I hit. It appears the rest of the inlet was fine. I just needed to favor the left going into the small finger off the main Jackfish Bay. Neither marine chart indicated the reef.
